I sent notes to two email addresses I found. I requested he at least make an appearance here to advise that he's either working the problem, or has abandoned the project so we can move on. No response thus far.
I know he updated his mozdev profile on 8/6/12 and lists the status of the webmail project as "active". However, this is the longest no response lapse I've experienced since installing the extension way back when Tbird versions were in the low single digits.. I guess time will tell.
