Well the there is a solution as posted above. Making the changes you
suggested would prevent checkboxes of __all__ negative values from
working. This will break backwards compatibility. I don't think that is
the correct solution, when there is a working solution already.
Furthermore, the hidden input of a checkbox is not -1 by default, its 0.
