#6245: HABTM primaryKey identified in one direction only, bad DELETE queries ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: cuppett | Owner: Type: Bug | Status: closed Priority: High | Milestone: 1.2.x.x Component: General | Version: 1.2 Final Severity: Major | Resolution: invalid Keywords: HABTM primaryKey | Php_version: PHP 5 Cake_version: 1.2.2.8120 | ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Changes (by mark_story):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: Multicolumn primary keys are not supported. Furthermore, if you have a table that does not have a discrete primary key field you should set {{{$primaryKey = false;}}}. Your workaround is in-fact the correct approach. Basically trying to use multi-column primary keys is not supported, and attempting to use them will cause the troubles you experienced. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/6245#comment:1> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
