Comment:

 Sorry for reopening this ticket but I tried to install the newest version
 of 5.0 MySQL (5.0.83) and the behavior is the same. I found this
 [http://community.livejournal.com/cakephp/3689.html link] claiming that
 MySQL views are not supported, is it true? if yes then it would make sense
 as since the beginning I had trouble with them.
