Thanks Albert for your reply. I am familiar with permissions, and it
was the first thing I checked when I had issues. However, the
permissions show that the file has full read and write permissions for
my user. So that should not be the issue.

I looked for a hidden file that is something like .pxovl* , but
nothing came up in my search at all. In fact, in the directory where I
have the file, there are no hidden files at all, so I did a system
wide search for a file like that, but found nothing again.

Any other thoughts why I'm getting this error?

Thanks for any help that I can get. I don't remember having issues
like this when I last used Tiddlywiki which was over a year and half
ago.
