I just wanted to document that this issue has been resolved. Thank you, FND, for the advice.
After realizing that my Tiddlywiki error was not related to the OS (in this case Fedora Linux), I then knew that it was a Firefox issue. Epiphany opened and saved Tiddlywiki files perfectly. I first tried to fix the Firefox issue by flushing all of my personal data, cookies, passwords, and everything else. This did not help. I still got the same error. Then I tried starting Firefox from the CLI with "firefox -- profilemanager" and this worked. I deleted the default profile for Firefox, opened Firefox which created a new default profile, imported my backed up bookmarks from the previous profile, and Tiddlywiki is now rocking in Firefox too. Just saved a note a few minutes ago to make sure. I'm still at a loose as to how I messed up the Firefox profile so that it would not save Tiddlywiki files. The problem seemed to crop up after I had tried using Ubiquity scripts to control my Tiddlywiki file. Ubiquity is an amazing tool, but I might want to stay away from the Tiddlywiki scripts that can be added to Ubiquity functionality. For those who don't know about Ubiquity, it is an extension for Firefox that gives you a super powerful command line to interact with the tools of the web. For example, you can simply type "add 7:00am Coffee with Mayor tomorrow" and it will add an appointment to your Google Calendar as long as you are logged into your Google account. There are similar scripts for Tiddlywiki that allow you to open a file, start a tiddler and save the Tiddlywiki file. For now I'm going to stay away from it. I do have some of that functionality by using "Gnome Do" under Fedora where I can simply type the name of the Tiddlywiki file that I want to open and it opens it under Firefox, this is a bit of a time saver, and keeps my hands on the keyboard. Now if Tiddlywiki only had keybindings for the main functions. :-) Thanks to all who responded to my post and offered help, this is a great community.
