I tried the new plugin and it appears to be a good initial step. For
the moment though, I am continuing with Martin's original plugin
primarily owing to the ease that simply formatted cells can be
integrated with the more complex ones. Whilst Martin's original plugin
allows one to specify formatting conventions in the header and use
'!!' to separate headings and '||' to separate other cells, the new
plugin does not. Often in my tables, there is only one particular
column, say a 'Notes' column, which requires the complexity that you
have implemented.

I hope that you will integrate foratting conventions in the header and
either use the double separator format or, perhaps preferably, allow
the intermingling of the usual TiddlyWiki cell format for simply
formatted cells and the MediaWiki format for more complex cells. As
well, ideally, you will be using TiddlyWiki formatting conventions
apart from your table formatting.

Please do continue with your work as the main disadvantage of the
original plugin is the need to use MediaWiki formatting throughout.
