After you kindly reviewed my table, you indicated that there was an
error in syntax.  I see that the new plugin is less forgiving of
errors in syntax than the old plugin. Once my error was cleared, I
found both to work equally well. I also noticed a drop in size: 14K
for the new plugin vs. 38K for the old plugin.

My initial thought about the new plugin was that you were going to
integrate it into the TiddlyWiki main stream of plugins, but from your
reply above, it appears that you intend to continue using the
MediaWiki formatting for lists, bolding, italicizing, etc.

So I guess my question is: aside from the reduction in size, will the
new plugin deliver more in the way of table formatting than the old
plugin?
