I did some digging recently and got it working in combination with the TiddlyTools SectionLinksPlugin. Mended a couple of other things too, like the 'show/hide' button which opened a blank window in IE6, and only showing the table when there's three or more headings in a tiddler. I'll dig out the code tomorrow and post the changes I made.
