What operating system are you on?
What version of Firefox are you running?
Where do you have Firefox set to save files? Are you sure that you
have read/write permissions for that location? Aren't out of space?
What messages appear in Tools | Error Console ?

If you click on "Advanced Options", you'll see a link called "An empty
TiddlyWiki File". If you right click on that link, you should be able
to "save link as". This will allow you to save the file exactly where
you want it. If that doesn't work, then there is probably something
wrong with your hardware, operating system, or internet connection.

Good luck!
