Hi again, once again thanks for your help. I appreciate the time and trouble you have taken to answer my questions.
so, here's what I've done now: I selected "import" from the backstage menu at the top of my wiki. I entered http://www.tiddlytools.com/#CoreTweaks in the box, and opened it. then I selected the Coretweaks line and put a tick in the box there. After importing it [it all seemed to go ok, no errors reported] I saved and reloaded. but still not working... Incidentally, the "welcome" tiddler seems to have been stomped on in the process; I had a bit of a look through and I don't see anyu other of my tiddlers that are missing, so that seems very weird to me. I only mention it in case it gives you a clue. Once the coretweaks plugin is installed, am I supposed to see more options in the tweak menu in backstage?
