OK, I find some more info about this weird behavior: As I said before, if I open MainMenu tiddler, the tagsTree will fail to show tag tress on the mainmenu. If I delete the MainMenu, and then the tree show up again and the new MainMenu will be built automatically.
It seems as soon as I open the MainMenu tiddler, one "attribute", (built-in shadow tiddler), will be removed. I don't know if this is the reason tagsTree breaks. On Pascal's web site: http://visualtw.ouvaton.org/VisualTW.html#TagsTreePlugin, I can change the MainMenu so that different tags being used as root tag. But his website use TiddlyWiki 2.3.0. Mine is 2.4.2. Does this matter? Or if anyone know an alternative of tagsTree, Please, please let me know. I need a hierarchy tag visualization system (TagMindMap is too heavy duty for my purpose. I just need text links like TagTree) Many thanks!!
