Hi I'm looking for some sort of alertbutton to let my 3 collegues know that I'm working on our shared TiddlyWiki.. I've been using TiddlyLock (http://www.minormania.com/tiddlylock/ tiddlylock.html) when collaborating on our locsal network. It's really easy - but I still miss some eyecatching red bullet blinking somwhere (in the mainmenu perhaps?!). Now I've put our wiki on tiddlyspot.com and I want my 3 collegues to use it. I've tried to use TiddlyLock on tiddlyspot before and as I remember it doesn't work there as it does on a shared network. I've copy/pasted a 99chats chatbox (http://www.99chats.com/) into a moveable tiddler - and I try to teach my colleagues to open it and join the chat - to see if somebody else is working on it. I think it would be very nice if you could see that somebody else was working on it when you open or refresh it.
Maybe some of you guys have made something for a similar situation - that I could play around with?? I imagine it should work something like this: I open(refresh) our shared TW and se that nobody has activated the alertbutton. I write my nickname into the <<option txtUserName>> click the red alertbutton (which also saves to web in one action) - and if somebody else opens the tw now - they will se the red alertbutton - and my nickname. When I hit save to web - the red button is deactivated and it is saved with no alert. Is this possible?? can anyone make this happen - or is it trivial and not a good idea?? Please give me some advice - I really would like to convince my colleages to use this tw. You can take a look for yourself here (its in Danish and is made to collaborate on making singalong lessons- excuse my sometimes bad english...) : http://sang.tiddlyspot.com/index.html#[[Den%20helt%20nemme]] YC Måns --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
