Sorry to hear you're having this trouble.

A small number of users has reported that this setting is not being 
saved. We're not quite sure why that is, but there are workarounds:

Normally websites are not allowed access to your hard drive (which is a 
good thing, of course).
Since TiddlyWiki needs this to store data (unless you're using a 
server-side), you'll have to tell Firefox it's okay for this application 
to write to disk.
