We started making extensive use of TiddlyWiki's at my office about 8
months ago and it has worked out really well. However, there are a
couple issues that arise frequently enough to be annoying, but not
often enough to be a deal breaker.

One of those issues is with the way SetUserNamePlugin and
TiddlyLockPlugin bump heads when they are both installed on a
TiddlyWiki. If the user is set to YourName when a user puts the TW
into edit mode, then TiddlyLockPlugin locks the file for editing with
the name, YourName. So if the user follows the prompt created by
SetUserNamePlugin, and enters their user name, then they are locked
out of editing the tiddler. What's worse, the TiddlyLockPlugin's .lck
file doesn't get cleared out and leaves the file set as locked for
editing by YourName.

The user then has to open the .Lck file and remove "YourName" from the
file. So, it's not hard to fix, but I keep having to show new users
how to fix this problem.

I previously tried to contact Richard Hobbis to see if he might
consider modifying TiddlyLockPlugin so that it would play nice with
SetUserNamePlugin, but I didn't get a response. I don't know if he's
still involved in the TW community or not. I'm wondering if anyone
knows how TiddlyLockPlugin might be modified, or whether
SetUserNamePlugin could be modified, or if it's just one of those
things that can't be fixed.
