Hi Ronin and Jacques, thanks for the ideas. Realms won't really work for me, because I am already making use of them. In fact I'm using most of the features of mGTD, and finding them useful. If that weren't true, I'd be more interested in finding another task manager than fixing mGTD.
So I'm reluctant to overload one of those features with this function, though I will probably start with more disciplined use of the stars. I believe this is a real problem so I would love to hear if any of the developers have an opinion, or if other people like Ronin are also grappling with this.
