Well, that's basically what happens in TW-notes. You assign a tag
which is the same as the title of an existing subtopic, and the
tiddler becomes a sub-tiddler of the existing subtopic. TiddlySnips
will let you set up a series of templates, which can include tag
values which can be set to that of a particular sub-topic.

Yes, I thought it was the end of the line for TiddlySnips, but maybe I
heard or remembered wrong.
