Indeed, and I'd rather have the drop-down list appear quite quickly, but am trying to avoid it being excessively long and slow (the wiki currently has approx 4MB and 913 tiddlers, so we're pushing Tiddlywiki and IE6 rather hard!). I can't see v1.8.0 here, have tried emptying my cache, etc but it doesn't appear, last change is at 1.11am yesterday (23rd). I'll check when I get home in case there's a problem here, but just wanted to check.
