Mel,

Please try not to use the term "template" when referring to a tiddler
that merely contains some starter text. TiddlyWiki templates are
special tiddlers that contain enhanced HTML syntax that is used to
control the layout of the entire document (PageTemplate), display
tiddlers (ViewTemplate), or edit tiddlers (EditTemplate).

In addition to these standard TW template tiddlers, if you install
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#TaggedTemplateTweak
you can create customized alternative templates that use tag values as
a prefix to associate specific tiddlers with specific templates (e.g.,
LetterViewTemplate is used by tiddlers tagged with "letter").

to use a custom ViewTemplate to display values that have been stored
in tiddler fields. Thus, using 'starter text' from another tiddler
isn't the solution.
