Eric,

I agree with what you are saying however, I, like many users found to avoid
always loosing cookies that I needed the cookie jar. Whilst other cookie
settings usually have a local effect eg; Show Animations, Breadcrumbs and
chk on tabs values etc...this is the only one I have come across that has a
non local effect, ie it effects other plugins that make core calls. thus I
used search options plugin and left it configured with no text or titles in
the search. This did not have a noticeable effect for some time as I prefer
using the goto plugin of yours rather than search. The SearchOptions Plugin
does not seem to effect goto plugin. I then some time latter captured my
cookies in the cookie jar. Some time later I returned to the showreminder
plugin which just did not behave the way I expected. My search options
setting was forgotten by this time.

What I mean by default is the default behaviour of the core search function
which search options plugin overrides.

I would not know how to deal with this I only know it caused me, a super
user, endless grief. Various TiddlyWiki group posts went unanswered.

Perhaps I can review my need for cookie jar now given my FireFox version
claims to fix a lost cookies problem that existed in early 3.x versions.

Thanks for your help.

If you have not found an easy way to do it with TiddlyWiki, you have missed
something.
