Normally, after clearing the 'hide editing features' checkbox, you need to reload the document for it to take effect. However, I have an inline script: http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#ToggleReadOnly that allows you to toggle the read-only state of the document *without* needing to reload the file. SaveFromWebPlugin doesn't change the command text, just the behavior... the link will still read "save changes". I tried your setup online... it works. After enabling the editing features, I clicked on 'save changes' and, instead of simply getting an error message, it successfully performed the "merge-and-download" processing: after responding to a browser-standard "download file" dialog box (i.e., "Do you want to save or open this file..."), the online document, including all current tiddler content, was then saved to a local file. enjoy, -e --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
