I've got EasyEdit working - only with Firefox, not Safari.   So far so
good.  The "remove format" works for me for bold, color,  but not for
removing list markup.  Exporting plain text could be just copy and
paste, at least for individual tiddlers.  I wonder if it's possible to
get the "new tiddler" function to open a tiddler directly in
"write" (i.e. easyEdit) mode.

What are the disadvantages of editing in easyEdit mode?  Of course
people used to TW will want to be able to use markup.  But for
newcomers (I'm thinking of my students), a toolbar for simple
formatting and being able to edit formatted text with all of its
formatting visible would greatly increase uptake, I think.
