As an alternative to easyEdit, you might want to consider a combination of http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#QuickEditPackage and http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#PreviewPlugin QuickEditPackage adds an 'editing toolbar' that lets you quickly insert the necessary TW syntax for text alignment, fonts, colors, links, macros, images, files, etc. There are also buttons that let you search-and-replace within the tiddler source, sort lines of text, split content across tiddlers, and convert tab- or comma-separated lists into TW tables. PreviewPlugin automatically renders the current tiddler source **while you are still editing it**. Every time you type a keystroke into the tiddler editor, the preview is automatically redrawn to show you how the current content would appear if you were to press 'done' at that moment. Although this approach does not actually allow you to directly edit the *rendered* content, the QuickEdit toolbar makes it very easy to apply formatting without needing to first learn and then recall specific TW syntax, and the PreviewPlugin's *live preview* presents immediate feedback regarding the effects of changes -- as they are being made.
