FND,

I take the point about minimal test cases.

Its when everything has been running fine for months, then something
happens. Its not easy to replicate, and it takes a long time. Its
about prioritising 'learning and getting it right' vs 'something to
show that works'

I like fields as they remove data from the tiddler display, so while
slices is a good idea, i'd have to hide them in the tiddlers. I use
slices elsewhere in the TW, as well as formTiddler and dataPlugin from
Udo.

Initially I was really after something like intellitagger's
functionality: each field to be like tags, but the intellitagger
selecting only items in the field. The team I'm working with are now
thinking of changing some of the field items, and i am going to have
to change them.

Visual TiddlyWiki's Edit Field plugin is pretty good. And since my
crash, i have had no problems with fields! (not tried updating though)

Its difficult to keep tweaking and keep up with the rest of the things
in life that need to be done. Solving the bigger problem could take
days - even with expert help - where as re-typing the data 30mins.

The help you and Eric give me are priceless. I couldn't keep doing the
project without it. Perhaps I could get you to have a look at it and
give some general comments which will help the project in the long
term.

There is / was a day at the Osmoplex geared towards data sometime soon?
