Bit of a brain dump; I recommend following the above advice but I do set my USB Drive letter on every PC I use.
Also I open my tiddlywiki using a portable firefox (see portableapps.com), so I take all my saved passwords, cookies and addons including the fantastic tiddlysnip with me. Under my tiddlywiki folder is; WikiBackups (for the use of lessbackupsplugin) http://ido-xp.tiddlyspot.com/#TrashPlugin Trash (Where I occasionally export my trashed tiddlers) using http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#SaveAsPluginInfo<http://www.tiddlytools.com/#SaveAsPluginInfo> <<saveAs "label:custom save as..." ask>> And Images/PDF and other folders for files I link to inside tiddlywiki using Link in the http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#QuickEditPlugin<http://www.tiddlytools.com/#QuickEditPlugin> Regards Tony TonyM If you have not found an easy way to do it with TiddlyWiki, you have missed something. www.tiddlywiki.com On Mon, Aug 3, 2009 at 12:37, AlanBCohen <[email protected]> wrote: > > Sorry, while walking the dog (yes, I really have one), I had another > thought: > > Another advantage of using directories under the main Wiki directory, > if you need to copy/send/move the Wiki, you can just take the whole > directory and all of its contents. without worrying about losing any > links. > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
