When I open up the active link, make a change, and then click save
changes to my tiddlywiki, an error comes up:

>A script from "file://" is requesting enhanced abilities that are UNSAFE and
>could be used to compromise your machine or data:
Run or install software on your machine

Allow these abilities only if you trust this source to be free of
viruses or malicious programs.

Click Accept or Deny<

So I click deny. And then sometimes I have to close that window
because if I don’t, I can't write anywhere on the internet --- when
try, it writes things backwards! For example, if i want to type gmail
into the address line, it puts the g first but then the rest of the
letters follow it so it looks like this: liamg. But it doesn't do
that always. If I click 'accept' it registers it, but the box doesn't
disappear, so I have to click Deny to get out of it. The normal "back
up saved" alert comes up in the top left corner. But then a couple of
seconds later a warning pops up and says, "Failed to Save".

I don't know what version it is, it was created before my time in July
2007. I have a Microsoft XP operating system and using the Firefox
browser (I tested and it does the same thing in Internet Explorer).
The tiddlywiki is linked to my server and stored there so all can
access it. Someone suggested that I need an updated version because
of changes to internet browsers. If so, how do I do that without
losing all of the content?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
