Thoughtful response Alan, I was hoping of course that I would get a response to show me that TW varients or plugins could get me what I like with LN. Since TW is so much more supported, extensible and mature. However ( and to Wolfgang too), I would contend that if you use TW where simplicity and speed to get your thoughts down are important, than the preview plugin - or editors on the edit side just do not fully substitute for having your main wysiwyg "note" editable in place at all times. Everyone is different but as an on again off again TW user for years this issue seems to get in my way. I checked back here first about solutions in TW but looks like I will continue on with LM and see the issues. If folks can show me how to build TW at least with editing in the main note ( tiddler) I would be inclined to work it through with TW. But for now I will report back on my experiences with LM. Issues already - LM implemented by one author who just made the app ( desktop and online w/ hosting) free claiming new Calif tax code reasons make small fees to hard to document - while free is good ( and very good that it is open source with the code online), my worry is he might be giving up or atleast slowing down - I am eagerly sampling the forum to see level of activity (eg. TW has had an active community nonstop for years). I feature requested in the forum to him that a plugin API for community script building would be a way to grow things as seen by TW and MoinMoin and other wikis. No response yet.
