Personally, I edit SideBarOptions, putting <<EncryptionDecryptAll "decrypt all">> somewhere in the list.
To encrypt a particular tiddler, simply tag it with Encrypt (EncryptionPrompt) Change the text 'Encryptoinprompt' to whatever you want. When you save the tiddlywiki, you will be prompted with 'EncryptionPrompt', for which you enter a password. When you open the tiddlywiki later, you can press the 'decrypt all' button, in your side bar, at which time, you will be prompted for the password to 'EncryptionPrompt'. Enter your password. Bingo. All done. Otherwise, next time you display the 'encrypted' tiddler, it is garbage, until you press the 'decrypt' button, up next to the 'edit' button. If you don't edit your SideBarOptions, simply display the TiddlerEncryptionPlugin (using the backstage) and use the macros that are already in the plugin. ...Lyall I already know that TidderlEncryptionPlugin does not play well with 'localisation plugins' that translate your tiddlywiki to another language, having had problems with a german plugin, in the past (google for that thread).
