Have you also saved and reloaded the TW before you dropped the .doc?

Tried it now with a .doc and just as before with a .txt file, it opens
a dialog asking for a tiddler title for the dropped file.
Once a new title given the tiddler displays, but empty. Because all
data has been added to custom fields which can be displayed by
clicking 'more' and than 'fields' in the tiddlers toolbar.

To display this data in view mode, or to edit it in edit mode. see the
documentation and import the additionally necessary template tiddlers
too.

Regards..
