I found this source of english word lists, including one IN JSON

   - Did you know before the first dictionary word lists were very popular?
   - They did not include the meaning but listed the words you needed to 
   know if you wanted to be part of the aristocracy or royal court.
   - Give a large word list you could check those you know and learn words 
   you do not know.
   - Lets have a link that searches for a given word in other databases.
