I too think it exists already but that may be the way I read the original post.
Mat can you restate your request in different words or a specific example? The greater problem for me was url links. If you drag and drop them or copy ctrl-v on tiddly wiki it creates an untitled (n) tiddler containing the link. I have a button that appears on untitled tiddlers to convert this to a custom link tiddler.
