One big problem: Even though the selected string is visible in view mode, 
the actual source of that text might not even be contained in the current 
tiddler.  It might be transcluded from another tiddler.  It might also be 
generated by a macro or widget, so there wouldn't be anything that could be 
"bracketed" to create the link.
