Ok I'll just throw this out. Beaker Browser is a P2P browser where you can edit your own websites using Markdown. It relies on the DAT protocol, but you also have to have your BB (Beaker Browser) running if you want people to see your HTML pages. https://beakerbrowser.com
Pros: 1. Markdown is easy to use even for beginners. The learning curve is short. 2. Hashbase.io can be used to host sites so you don't have to have BB running all the time. Notes: 1. Unknown support for multiple users editing documents. I doubt there is support for that at all.
