Mark I think the issue is if you return to a wiki in a tab after a while, even a browser or pc reboot to a wiki that has not being reloaded before you made changes causes this.
Perhaps there is a fix, but an emergency export changes only, reload, import changes in the work around. Eventualy I will publish a set of custom save buttons for this situation.
