FYI: I am using TiddlySnip 1.2 Beta (found at http://groups.google.com/group/TiddlySnip/browse_thread/thread/8846404dc903c859) and Fire fox 3.5.5 in a PortableApps implementation and it is snipping into a Tiddlywiki version 2.5.0 - I expect it to work with a later version.
Seems to all work fine but the plugin can't be installed via the firefox add-on site. there are instructions which let you install it in the plugin directory.
