Hi BC > Just curious -- but why do you want people to click twice just to > close a tiddler? It's a matter of trying to eliminate a habit and unclutter the toolbar leaving space for other buttons with more dedicated functions.. There are allready three ways to close a tiddler with one click: 1) click the x in the tab 2) click Home to close all and open defaulttiddlers. 3) Close All in the TopMenu >And why *two* "more" (and less) buttons? Having only > one command followed with "more ... more ..." seems a little awkward > to me. Yes I know - it's a matter of priority and "working at one level at a time". I considered removing buttons all along - but when you are working in the toolbar allready, I find it to be convenient to get the extra options 'en passant'.. > And forgive me, but I may just be missing the intention of the > project, but in a working copy of the (Storm P or "Pstorm"?!) -- > will all tags be hidden? I don't know how to do that. Can tags be tagged (?) to keep them > out of the tag box? It's the general idea. - There's the tagDB tiddler which I will use as a container for either: 1) The tags that should be accessible from the tagger pulldown *assign parent topics* ▾ 2) The tags that shoulden't be accessible from the tagger pulldown *assign parent topics* ▾ > And this makes me feel really dumb, 'cause I must have missed > something obvious, but I didn't see any button for simply creating a > new tiddler. Again it's a matter of priority - there are already several ways to do it: 1) Doubleclick on the tiddlersBar (which I prefer) 2) Use *create subtopic notes* or add:»subtopic or newNote > I love the "there is one unsaved tiddler" message -- very cool. > It's very intriguing and I look forward to seeing it shape up the way > you envision it. Me too :-)
I will reflect on your questions and try not to make it too different from a "normal" TW.. Maybe the different custom ViewTemplates should have different ToolBarCommands as well ... and avoid the "double" levels of More/ Less...
