Dave,

That's a very creative approach. I've got AutoHotkey on my "when I get
around to checking out cool and useful technology to make my life
easier" list. From the "tolerable" perspective, it's worth exploring.

I like your idea of a plugin that monitors folder(s) and automatically
incorporates content into the TiddlyWiki. I would suggest that the
default behavior of the plugin would:
* flag new content with a user-defined tag(s)
* designate new content as read-only, which could be a function of the
presence/absence of a tag
* immediately incorporate the new content into search
* provide a mechanism, possibly nothing more than a fET script to list
the new content tiddler(s) with various grouping and sorting options -
this could be placed in DefaultTiddlers or elsewhere

However, I'm sticking with my big-picture "framework" notion as a
robust solution. It could address more issues with consistency.

Thanks for your input, Dave.

Craig
