In computing a quine is a special kind of phenomena. Briefly, its code 
whose output becomes its input where the input is the code of the program 
... In other words its a self-contained system that changes itself where 
those changes persist between iterations. Its rarer than you might think. 

TW is an true instance of a practical quine.

In one way this is esoteric. But, actually, I think it really aids 
understanding TW stand-alone once you get your head round it.
