Sorry for the secound post, but while meditating over the plugin.info - is 
each plugin simple an "object" in a bigger JSON-structure? Meaning

{
   { /*Plugin-Data 1st plugin */ },
   { /*Plugin-Data 2nd plugin */ },
   …
}
