An example for Global changes would be (if desired)
Create a Tiddler called zConfig (or something else similiar)
Insert this text
{{{
config.options.chkInsertTabs = true; // tab inserts a tab in edit
config.views.wikified.defaultText = ""; // no tiddler doesn't exist
config.views.editor.defaultText = ""; // no default text
}}}
Tag as systemConfig
Save and Reload.
Note: I provided (3) options, you only actually requested the
lastoption.
