If you go to the advanced search, filter tab and put in:

[haschanged[]]

you will see a list of tiddlers that have changed. As TT mentions, some of 
these might be state tiddlers.

In any event, is the "save" (check) icon red or gray? If it's red, that 
means you have changes somewhere and a "save" is probably called for.
