Oh, understanding this is very important. The "\define" pragma is what 
starts a macro. It can be a single line macro or it can be a multiline 
macro in which case it also needs an "\end". You can have an unlimited 
number of macros in one tiddler. All pragmas just need to be grouped at the 
top. Just check out some system tiddlers and you'll see this.

Well, there's nothing wrong with macros. It's just that sometimes you're 
forced to use a macro which you might not have wanted to, were it possible 
to avoid it. Perhaps mostly for "overviewability".

but this doesn't help. Maybe it's a bug.
