Simon, I have been turning a lot of people on to Monkey GTD. We even have people using the Portuguese version here in Mozambique.
The number one objection I get is the name "Monkey." Several people have said, "I don't want to be called a monkey. Having said that I think it's a strong name and especially with such a strong user base I think it would be unwise to get rid of Monkey from the name. Many users of MGTD aren't even aware that it is based on GTD concepts. My personal preference would be to not use a similar acronym. Instead I would suggest thinking long and hard about a name that describes what this program does. I like MonkeyDo, but since it's taken, how about "ProjectMonkey"?
