Hi David, David, I’d be interested to restart the hangouts again. I revived them last year with terrible timing, we kicked them off 10 days before I got COVID:

It’s a bit better now, and I’m better at managing it so I think it’s worth another try. I’m open to suggestions as to whether we stick to the interview format we used last year, or try something else. In terms of help, I’d be very happy if somebody was able to step up and take over production of the hangouts, but happy to accept any other help in the meantime. One boring area where I would definitely appreciate some help is with the subtitle transcription, which is very tedious and slow — for a 45 minute video it was taking me 2-3 hours. I’ve been doing it with YouTube’s subtitle editor which is oddly clunky and hard to use. Some light Googling suggests that YouTube does let me give somebody else the ability to edit subtitles on my behalf.
