Actually, I realized other separators are probably clearer such as a (vertically centered) bullet or a simple ">". Indicates a gradual refinement/path. A more subtle version of ">" is "›" (ref number 155 here http://www.ascii-code.com/ )
Still think some color contrast is a good idea. (Procrastinating something? Who, me? Are these 5 pixels NOT of uttermost importance?
