I have not tried the align right code yet (will be keeping that in mind for future reference though)
I can say that centeredTable works for me from v2.4.3 - v2.6.0 (in my non-vanilla enviroment) Maybe a vanilla test case on www.tiddlyspot.com would clear this up, you can post yours if you like, otherwise I will build one when I get a chance to see if I get similiar results.
