OK. You gave the "backlink" button a more prominent position. So my
assumption is not true anymore.

The next paragraph reflects my preferences  q:-)
As a user, I'd prefere a "grayed out" backlink, if there are no
backlinks and a "light colored" one, if there are backlinks.
