Thanks for the info ...puts scribd into quite a different light ...although there are (still?!?) options to opt out of such naggings and one gets the impression that it will stay that way. At least, one knows a bit about what you're up to.
As for embedit.in ...other than explaining how to do things, it seems to lack even the basics as to the terms of their service.
