First of all, I would not change the doubleclick behaviour. Instead I would prefer a CTRL+CLICK ...whereas one click might show your suggested border and a second CTRL+CLICK inside of it opens the transcluded tiddler in edit mode. Although, the border does not really seem necessary ...and if there actually is no transclusion it might fall back to just opening the tiddler in EditMode.
On the other hand, I really wouldn't know (yet) where one would have to hook that handler, probably when wikifying a transcluded tiddler or when rendering a slider or tabs. It would also be good if all these instances would use the same CTRL-CLICK handler, or double-click if you must. When it comes to editing tabs (as opposed to sliders or transclusions), this thread [1] and the corresponding plugin from lewcid [2] might be of interest to you... So essentially I would see at least the three following applications for this kind of behaviour: 1) transclusions 2) sliders 3) tabs Are there any other? On the other hand, you can always use hidden sections to have the slider with its contents or a tabset with its contents in one and the same tiddler. Cheers, Tobias.
