Hello, I've got a TiddlyWiki (2.6.1) that I've been using for about 5 years now to record scientific data. It's incredibly precious to me and has grown to > 6,000 KB.
My problem is that of late when I save it it periodically breaks. I have to restore it from older versions I have backed up on dropbox.com but then again after a few saves it will break again. By break I mean that the file messes up on saving. On examining the files as plain text there seems to be 2 separate things happening. Most commonly after the alphabetical list of tiddlers, there is inserted a random tiddler (out of order) which is then truncated and the whole footer area of code has disappeared. Sometimes for some reason there is some error in the footer code (I haven't worked out what as it hasn't happened often). In either case, I can restore the tiddlywiki by just manually cutting and pasting in the footer code from a previously functioning backup, but it seems to be happening repeatedly and my manual fixes are no longer practical. Is this due to some intrinsic file-size limit or is there anything I can do about this - I have invested a huge amount of time getting this tiddlywiki to its current state and am desperate to be able to keep using it... Thanks very much in advance for any help anyone can offer. N.
